Performed in 925 Sterling Silver,
with a top cover of mottled amber colour – 
featuring a pattern of brown & orange contrasting areas, 
resembling colour of calico cloth, 
made of synthetic fax tortoiseshell 
with an intricate silver inlay on top, 
framed by an elaborate border
 
Bearing maker’s mark “J.D. & W.D.” – James Deakin & Sons 
lion passant for sterling silver & letter date for 1903.
 
Box is raised on four feet, each finely detailed
 
Dimensions: 12.5cm x 14.5cm 
Height: 7cm
