This European (English) Cigarette Case 
from the 1920’s is a rare find!
 
Measuring 80mm (W, including the lock) x 
88mm (L) x 11mm (D)
 
Marked 'Alpacca' to inner rim, 
of rectangular contoured curved "breast-hugging" shape - 
(to be carried in a breast pocket), 
the cover is painted in enamels with a football (soccer) scene 
of a goalkeeper mid save before two players;
opening to a gilt interior
enamelling is in great condition, so is the gilded interior
 
This piece is antique, yet in beautiful condition.
