The central gold inlaid panel is richly worked in relief with roses and other blossoms, 
its flowing naturalistic composition displaying a strong Art Nouveau influence, 
while contrasting beautifully against the precise geometric texture of the silver ground. 
 
Featuring gilt interior 
 
The combination of two-tone precious metals, elaborate guilloché work and 
finely executed floral ornament reflects superb early 20th-century craftsmanship and 
gives the case a particularly elegant, luxurious character.
