The elaborate crown is further adorned with diamonds &
2 vibrant green emeralds in the arches of the crown & features a cross as its finial
Representing British Empire, shaped as Imperial Crown,
the piece incorporates the Celtic emblems of:
Scotland – thistle, Northern Ireland – shamrock & Wales – daffodil,
arranged around an openwork Imperial Crown &
symbolising unity within the British Isles;
Featuring exquisite enamelling work:
hand-painted green, violet & orangy-pink enamel
(enamelling is in excellent condition), that beautifully compliment diamonds
Measuring 35mm x 35mm,
the brooch secures to the reverse with pin & safety clasp
