Capodimonte ("Capo di Monte") porcelain was created 

by the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory (Real Fabbrica di Capodimonte), 

which operated in Naples, Italy in XVIII century & 

founded by French King King Charles V in 1743. 

 

Capodimonte is the most renowned factory for early Italian porcelain.

 

This piece is an exquisite candleholder designed as a winged cherub, 

in porcelain & soft-paste, 

in gorgeous white/beige, pink & golden colours
