This Antique Edwardian set of vanity tools - 
Shoe Horn & Button Hook - is a rare find and 
a fascinating piece of the early XX century history of England
 
They feature sterling silver mounts with tortoiseshell handles
decorated in fine silver piqué inlay, forming elegant neoclassical garland 
and medallion motifs. 
 
The style is typical of late Victorian to Edwardian dressing table accessories, combining practical function with refined decorative craftsmanship. 
 
The silver mount bear English hallmarks, 
including the lion passant for sterling silver, 
London assay office mark, along with a date letter – 1907 – 1910 
and maker’s mark“C & R C” for William Comyns & Sons company 
 
Both in beautiful original condition
