Rare & beautifully crafted Italian inlaid veneer games table,

traditionally associated with the renowned Sorrento region,

celebrated for its exceptional marquetry craftsmanship.

The superbly executed top is richly inlaid with an intricate composition

of natural timbers, including striking walnut burl veneers,

depicting a finely detailed classical scene of a charioteer driving a horse-drawn chariot.

The hinged top opens to reveal both a chessboard, backgammon board and all the gaming pieces,

combining decorative artistry with practical functionality.

An unusual feature is the inclusion of two interchangeable sets of legs,

allowing the table to be displayed at different heights to suit a variety of settings.

The reversible playing surface also incorporates a roulette betting layout,

while the interior is thoughtfully fitted with compartments for gaming accessories.

Retaining its original roulette wheel, chips, counters, playing pieces and accessories,

the table offers a complete entertainment centre for a variety of traditional games.

Combining exceptional craftsmanship with remarkable versatility,

it serves equally well as an elegant centre table or a sophisticated games table.

Dimensions: L: 82 cm, W: 82 cm, H: 80 cm.
