Describing himself as a “middle period” painter of the impressionist school,
Langker primarily focused on landscape painting with popular subjects including coastal scenes, cloud studies, and formally arranged flower portraits.
His favorite painting spots were:
Narrabeen Lakes (northeast of Sydney)
the south coast of NSW, Tumut,
and around the bays of Sydney Harbour.
