of oval form, of large size (27.5cm long) and heavy gauge,
the entwined openwork “bamboo” handle
mirror is framed by 2 dragons, incredibly detailed
The reverse is engraved with birds perching on bamboo & bamboo leaves.
Hallmarked TS for Tien Shing or Tin Sang –
rarely encountered maker,
one of the greatest and finest Chinese Export retailer,
Hong Kong based renowned silversmith in the late XIXc.
Further hallmarked with Chinese character mark,
stamped 95 silver (950)
