This delightful late Victorian – c1896 - 15ct Rose Gold Ring,
is set with a row of richly coloured oval Natural Almandine garnets,
interspersed with delicate seed pearls.
The stones are mounted within an ornate scrolling gallery,
exhibiting refined applied wirework and granulation
in a cannetille-inspired manner,
featuring gorgeous twisted and beaded wires, lace-like, airy construction
Their intense colour and excellent wearability made
almandine garnets a favoured choice of the period.

The vivid deep wine-red oval natural garnets are well-matched,
contrasting beautifully with the soft lustre of the pearls,
creating a classic and enduringly elegant palette.

N.D. – maker’s mark, 15 (625) stamp, an anchor for Birmingham &
letter date for 1896
Finely engraved shoulders measure 5mm,
