These intricate Silver pill boxes were crafted by Wang Hing – 
a renowned Chinese silversmith of XIX – 1st half of XXc. 
who was probably responsible for producing more Chinese Export Silver 
than any other Chinese retail silversmith.
 
Recognised for high-quality, intricate silver pieces & 
considered to be one of the most sought after and collectible
Chinese export silver manufacturers.
 
His firm operated from the 1840s, expanded to Hong Kong in the 1920s, 
and closed around 1941 due to the Japanese invasion.
 
The pill boxes depict incredible chasing of traditional Chinese motifs – 
applied bamboo branches & dragons, 
with remarkable attention to details
 
Bases are stamped with 90 fineness, 
W.H. maker’s mark & Chinese hallmark
